1. Price Information

We do our best to ensure that all prices are correct at time of display online. In the event of an administrative error resulting in an incorrect price being displayed on our website, we reserve the right to correct the price. In these circumstances, you will be invited to pay the correct price or have the right to cancel the order at no cost to yourself.

2. Ordering Goods

Our online store can accept orders originating from and for delivery to UK and worldwide. To purchase online simply click the 'Buy' button to add the product into the 'Basket' after making your selections use the 'checkout' button to view your entire contents before purchasing. You will be able to review and amend your order before proceeding through the checkout stages. We will ask for details of your billing address - this MUST be the address at which your Credit/Debit card is registered - and email/phone contact details so we can contact you if we need to discuss your order as well as keep you updated with the progress of your order. A delivery charge will be added to your order before making payment. Finally we will ask for details of the Credit/Debit card you wish to use to make your payment. You will be invited to accept our 'terms and conditions' after which pressing the "place order" button will generate and transmit your order and display a page confirming the details of your order for your records. If you need to amend your order after it has been generated, please contact us either by email (info@provisiondirect.co.uk) or telephone 0844 8117890 or 00 (44)1442 214896 if calling from abroad Mon-Fri 9am-5.00pm. If you place an order through our web site, we will confirm receipt of your order by sending an email to you using the e-mail address you supplied when registering with our website. Also please refer to section 1 above regarding incorrect prices. No contract will exist between you and us for the sale of products by us to you until your credit/debit card has been charged. This will be deemed to be our acceptance of your order and to have been effectively communicated to you. Please note that the only language in which the contract can be concluded is English. Details of your order will be retained by us in our database and these details can be made available on request.

3. Payment

We accept payment by all major credit / debit cards as well as Paypal with the exception of Diners Club. Payment will be debited to your account before the despatch of your purchase. Customers who would like to pay for goods by cheque should make cheques payable to Provision Direct  Please allow ten working days for cheque clearance.

 

Customers residing outside UK and Ireland will be required to pay for their order via funds transfer direct to the bank account of Provision Direct prior to the goods being despatched.

4. Validation Checks


All credit and debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

In addition, in the interests of preventing fraudulent use of credit and debit cards, Provision International Ltd will validate the names, addresses and other information supplied during the order process against commercially available records (e.g. Electoral Roll data). We may need to contact you by letter, telephone or email to verify details before we are able to dispatch your order or we may be unable to accept your order. We also use 3D secure via Sagepay. No credit / debit card numbers are stored by us. All transactions are secured.

Occasionally, your credit / debit card payment may be declined as a 'security check' by your bank. This may delay delivery of your order which will be out of our control. You are advised to contact your bank should this occur.

5. Liability


The majority of card issuers cover all the charges that may result from unauthorised use of your credit card or debit cards, but some may limit your liability to £50. If you believe your credit or debit card has been subject to unauthorised use you should contact your card issuer without delay.

6. Delivery of Goods


We can deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom and worldwide. For deliveries outside of the UK there will be an additional delivery charge and slightly longer delivery lead time. A representative from Provision Direct will contact you to confirm the charge prior to taking payment from your credit or debit card and despatching your order.

 

Your order will be delivered either by Royal Mail, UPS, Initial Citylink or an alternative courier at our discretion. A signature is required for all deliveries.

7. Delivery Charges


Our standard delivery charge for all deliveries within the UK and worldwide will be made and the amount is subject to weight and quantity.

8. Delivery Times


Deliveries are normally carried out Monday to Friday during normal working hours. Should you require a special delivery such as before certain times of a day or on a Saturday an additional charge will be applicable. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

 

From the receipt of your order we will endeavour to deliver your chosen items to you within 3 - 5 working days providing the goods are in stock in our warehouse or by the suppliers.

 

Deliveries to non-Mainland or remote locations may take longer.

 

Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery.

 

Goods delivered by courier should arrive between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. All deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives the Courier will leave a card with the contact number for you to call to arrange a suitable time for redelivery or for you to collect the goods from the local depot.

9. After-sales Service and Guarantees


Where applicable, details of manufacturer’s warranties or service arrangements will be provided with the product.

 

10. Restrictions on Ordering and Delivery


We can only accept orders from holders of credit or debit cards registered at UK addresses and Northern Ireland. Customers living outside UK are invited to pay by bank transfer to our account as shown in section 3 of these terms and conditions.

12. Unwanted Goods


If you decide that you do not want any item which we have delivered then, provided that it is returned to us in its original and unused condition (including in its original undamaged packaging), along with the delivery note / invoice (as proof of purchase) within 7 days of delivery, we will exchange it or offer a refund. Electrical equipment and items with glass, such as lens can only be exchanged if faulty. There will be a re-stocking charge of 20% of the net value. Items cannot be returned if they are part of a 'special order'. or are returned in an unsalable condition.

 

Methods of return are as follows:

 

i) By Post. You are advised to obtain a certificate of posting (available from all Post Offices at no charge) when returning items by post.

 

ii) To our address in Hemel Hempstead. Simply return the item to us for a replacement or refund. Unfortunately we are not able to provide this service for special orders.

 

iii) Collection by us. Where there is no fault found with the goods, we do not refund delivery charges and may charge for collecting the goods if they are not sent to our Hemel Hempstead address.

 

This guarantee is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights. If you post the item to us, or we collect it, we will endeavour to send you a replacement or refund your payment, within 14 days.

13. Faulty Goods


If you purchase a product from us which is found to be faulty, you must notify us immediately. We will either supply a replacement product, arrange for a repair or give you a refund of the purchase price. Electrical equipment can only be exchanged if faulty. Simply return it to us by one of the following methods:

 

i) By Post. You are advised to obtain a certificate of posting (available from all Post Offices at no charge) when returning items by post.

 

ii) To Provision International Ltd address in Kings Langley. Simply return the item to us for a replacement or refund. Unfortunately we are not able to provide this service for special orders.

 

iii) Collection by us. Where there is no fault found with the goods we do not refund delivery charges and may charge for collecting the goods if they are not sent to our Hemel Hempstead address.

 14. Repairs

When an item is sent to us for repair and is not under warranty, we will send a quotation to the customer for approval before the repair is carried out. Once the item has been repaired, we will write to the customer and aks for payment for the repair. All repairs must be paid for within 7 days of the repair being completed.

15. Safe Shopping Guarantee


We have used every effort to ensure that shopping on the Internet with us is as safe as possible. Our secure server software encrypts all of your personal information sent over the Internet. In processing your order, your information may have to be sent over the Internet more than once. At no point is your order information sent in this way without encryption.
