Sony HVR-MRC1K Memory Recording Unit

The Sony HVR-MRC1K is a compact flash recording unit that can be fitted to the rear of the Sony HVR-Z7E and the NEW HVR-Z5E camcorders.

The HVR-MRC1K compact flash recorder is an accessory to Sony's new Hybrid camera range. It allows you to record onto compact flash media, which is not only cost effective but is also a quicker way of transfering images, videos and files for editing.

Sony's Hybrid camera range allows you to record onto Tape, Compact Flash or alternatively both at the same time.  The HVRMRC1K is compact and lightweight unit which simply clicks onto the back of the camera for instant recording.  The compact flash media must be a minimum of a 133x write speed or greater to be compatible with the recording unit.
